Title: Crossing political and physical borders: Authentication of identities on the move
 
This research effort attempts to enable the consumption of sensitive government eServices across political and physical borders. The challenge is to obtain guarantees about the user’s identity through strong authentication while eliminating any dependencies on external operators and user platforms. The discussion will a) take a look at the problem at hand b) determine current research efforts around the EU and c) provide a potential solution which abstracts complexities. A demo will outline a business case for the proposed solution.
