Abstract:
The JavaScript language has been around since 1995 when it was first implemented within the Netscape Navigator 2 browser. JavaScript is essentially an object-oriented programming language in which classes are not present. The advent of technologies such as Web2.0 and HTML5 has seen the proliferation of JavaScript frameworks such as WebGL. During this hour we'll have a look at the features of the language which is increasingly being considered as the brains of the web.
