Title: Survey and Classification of Controlled Natural Languages Abstract: Controlled Natural Languages (CNL) are based on natural language but come with restrictions concerning lexicon, syntax and semantics. There are many different CNLs out there, some for improved readability for humans, others to improve machine translation, and still others to do automatic reasoning. Coming up with a consistent classification scheme is somewhat a challenge, because CNLs combine properties of natural and of formal languages. I will present my current work on such a classification scheme and I am looking forward to your feedback.
