Title: Computer Vision Applications

Abstract:

Computer Vision is the field concerned with the automated processing of a video to extract and interpret information in real-time. There are several applications of Computer Vision. This presentation will show two computer vision applications which were developed at the University of Malta. The first one is computer surveillance where the humans and vehicles were automatically detected and tracked throughout the video sequence. The second application is the non-intrusive detection of fatigued drivers.
