SALE OF BEER REGULATIONS

Title .
Interpretation.
requires-
"beer" includes ale, stout, porter and light beer;
"to sell" includes to offer, expose, advertise or keep for sale and
to supply by way of compensation or otherwise.
Consistency of 
beer.
3. No person shall sell any beer unless it consists of that
substance produced from the alcoholic fermentation of grain malt
with the addition of hop or hop extract, in water and brewed in a
manner as to possess the taste, smell and characteristics commonly
attributed to beer.
Additives of beer.
preparation, any or all of the following substances only: 
(1) carbohydrate 
(2) salt 
(3) yeast 
(4) hop oil 
(5) carbon dioxide 
(6) camel 
(7) dextrin 
(8) food enzymes 
(9) yeast foods:
(10) the following additives:
(i) sodium or calcium or ammonium phosphate
(ii) calcium acetate
(iii) calcium chloride
(iv) calcium hydroxide
(v) calcium oxide
(vi) potassium or magnesium or calcium sulphate
(vii) citric acid
(viii) lactic acid
(ix) potassium chloride
(x) tartaric acid
(xi) ascorbic acid and calcium ascorbate
(xii) sulphurous acid
(xiii) sodium or potassium metabisuphite

(xv) sodium hydrogen sulphite
(xvi) calcium sulphite
(xvii) calcium hydrogen sulphite:
Provided that no finished product shall contain more than
seventy parts per million, calculated as SO 2 , of any of items (xii) to
(xvii) or of any combination thereof.
