BILATERAL AGREEMENT ON SOCIAL SECURITY 
BETWEEN MALTA AND THE NETHERLANDS 
REGULATIONS

Title.
Social Security between Malta and the Netherlands Regulations.
Interpretation.
between the Government of Malta and the Government of the
Kingdom of the Netherlands signed on 11th September, 2001, a
copy of which was laid on the table of the House of Representatives
on the 19th November, 2002.
Extension of 
applicability.
Cap. 318.
3. The provisions of the Social Security Act shall have effect
in its application with regard to the persons mentioned in the
agreement, subject to such modifications and adaptations as may be
required in accordance with the provisions of the said agreement,
and in so far as the Social Security Act applies to -
(i) Sickness and Matemity Benefits;
(ii) Pensions in respect of Invalidity;
(iii) Pensions in respect of Retirement;
(iv) Pensions in respect of Widowhood;
(v) Benefits in respect of Unemployment; and
(vi) Children’s Allowances including allowances for
children with a disability.
