DRAWBACK ON EXPORTED LIQUIFIED 
PETROLEUM GAS ORDER

2. Subject to the provisions of the Import Duties Act, and of
article 3 hereof, a drawback of the import duty charged on liquified
petroleum gas imported in bulk shall be allowed when such gas is
exported or shipped as stores from these Islands in cylinders.
Customs control.
be exported or shipped as stores shall be weighed by officers of
Customs, at such place as may be determined by the Comptroller of
Customs, at the exporter’s expense and after such weighing the gas
cylinders shall be sealed in the presence of such officers.
(2) For the purposes of the weighing required in accordance
with the provisions of sub-article (1) the exporter shall give the
Comptroller of Customs not less than three days’ notice in writing
of the date on which it is intended to export the bottled gas or ship
it as stores and such notice shall contain particulars of the place at
which and the hours during which such weighing may be carried
out.
