(PROHIBITION OF IMPORTATION) REGULATIONS

Prohibition of 
importation of hay, 
etc.
2. (1) The importation of hay, straw, and cotton-seed from
places abroad declared to be infected with plague is prohibited.
(2) The importation of hay, straw and cotton-seed from other
places abroad will only be allowed provided each consignment of
such merchandise is accompanied by a certificate issued by the
Sanitary Authority of the exporting country stating that no plague
infection exists, or has existed within the preceding period of one
month among human beings or among rats or other rodent animals
in the district from which the merchandise originates and in the
district from which the merchandise is shipped.
