PREVENTION OF FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE 
REGULATIONS
22nd December, 1967

Title.
Mouth Disease Regulations.
Order for re-
export.
2. The Minister responsible for Agriculture may order any
meat, meat products, animal offals or parts of an animal imported
into these Islands to be re-exported within such time as he may
consider expedient, when he is satisfied that in the country of
origin of such meat, meat products, animal offals or parts of an
animal there is or there has been at any time during the period of
three months immediately preceding the day of importation into
these Islands a case of foot and mouth disease.
Destruction of 
meat.
3. Where an importer fails to comply with such order within
the time prescribed as above, the Minister responsible for
agriculture may order the meat, meat products, animal offals or
parts of an animal in regard to which such order was made to be
destroyed at the expense of the importer.
Prohibition of 
landing of swill.

4. No swill shall be landed from any ship, yacht, pleasure
craft, boat or other vessel or from any aircraft whatsoever without
the prior approval of the Director of Agriculture and under such
conditions as the said Director may deem fit to impose.
