EXPORTATION OF ARMS AND AMMUNITION 
REGULATIONS
11th March, 1910
GOVERNMENT NOTICE 65 of 1910, as amended by Ordinance XVI of
1960.
Title.
Ammunition Regulations.
Exportation of 
arms and 
ammunition.
2. No person shall export from Malta arms, ammunition, or
other munitions of war, not required for the Armed Forces of Malta,
without a special permission from the Government.
Applications.
Office of the Prime Minister and shall state -
( a ) the name and other particulars of the exporter;
( b ) the number and quality, or, as the case may be, the
quantity of the articles intended to be exported; and
( c ) the country to which such articles are intended to be
exported.

4. When permission has been granted to export any such
arms, ammunition or other munitions of war, the same or the
packages or parcels containing the same shall be taken to the
Customs House before shipment, for inspection by the Comptroller
of Customs, who may order any such package or parcel to be
opened by the exporter or his agent, for the purpose of verifying its
contents.
