IMPORTED CIGARETTES REGULATIONS

Title.
Regulations.
Imported cigarettes 
to have band 
affixed to 
containers.
2. It shall not be lawful to import into these Islands or to take
out of bond any imported cigarettes unless the packet, box or
container immediately enclosing the cigarettes has been sealed by
means of a band or stamp issued by the Comptroller of Customs.
Method of affixing 
band or stamp.
3. The band or stamp shall be affixed in such a way that it
shall not be possible to open the container without breaking it.

4. The bands or stamps shall be issued by the Comptroller of
Customs on application by the importer of the cigarettes at the
price of seventeen cents five mils per thousand bands or stamps.

5. Any person who has in his possession or in any way
disposes of imported cigarettes which do not conform to the
provisions of regulations 2 and 3 hereof shall be liable, on
conviction, to the penalties provided for in the Customs Ordinance.
