SLIPWAY (USE) REGULATIONS

Interpretation.
requires -
"Director" means the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries and
includes any officer of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries
authorised by him to act on his behalf;
"slipway" means any hauling ramp, which is not privately
owned, equipped with winch facilities other than hand operated.

(2) Words and phrases not otherwise defined have the same
meaning as is assigned to them in the Fisheries Conservation and
Management Act.
Use of slipway.

Period of use.
slipway, fix the period of such use: 
Provided that he may, during the currency of such period,
order the immediate launching of the fishing boat.
Conditions.
of the fishing boat on the slipway after hauling as he deems fit and
may order the removal of any implements which he deems not
necessary except while hauling or launching of the fishing boat.
Minimum length of 
fishing boats.
6.  (1)  The Director may fix the minimum length of fishing
boats which may make use of any particular slipway.
(2)  Such minimum length shall, when fixed, be indicated on a
board erected near the slipway.
Damage to fishing 
boats. 
7. The Director shall not be responsible for any damage
suffered by any fishing boat while making use of any slipway or
while being hauled or launched.
