10. Catheterization of bladder, and vaginal
irrigation, tamponage or rectal enema when
ordered by the medical attendant after the
first 3 days of the puerperium .......  .12, 5
11. When the midwife’s attendance is required
away from the town, suburb, or village in
which she resides, for every mile or part of
a mile from such town, suburb or village to
the limits of the town, suburb or village
where the patient resides, there shall be
reckoned additional to the fees laid down in
this tariff and to the travelling expenses
according to law, a rate of

12. The rates as established by this tariff are
binding only whenever there has been no
previous agreement between the midwife
and patient. The fees for services not
included in this tariff shall be assessed by
the Medical Council according to
circumstances, provided there has been no
previous agreement.
