CONTROL OF ADVERTISING OF MEDICINALS 
REGULATIONS

Control of 
advertising.
2. (1) It shall not be lawful for any person to advertise or
allow advertising or permit to be advertised any medicinal
preparation, or any remedy claimed to have a therapeutic or other
effect on the human body unless specifically authorised to do so by
the Superintendent of Public Health on the advice of the Council of
Health.
(2) In granting the authorisation referred to in subregulation
(1), the said Superintendent may impose any condition he may
deem fit, and in particular may restrict, modify or in any other way
control the presentation and wording of the advertisement.
(3) Any person who advertises or allows to be advertised any
medicinal preparation or remedy, shall ensure that the permit
number of the Department of Health appears on every
advertisement.
