PROPERTY HELD UNDER THE CRIMINAL CODE 
NOTICE

Designated 
property and 
persons.
2. The following persons shall hold, on behalf of the
Registrar of the Criminal Courts, the property designated next to
their names:
Property to be held 
in a safe place.
3. Property held by such persons shall be held in a safe place
by the persons designated and shall not be used by any person or
released to any person except as directed by the Registrar of the
Criminal Courts.
Firearms, etc., 
forfeited in favour 
of the Government.

4. The Commissioner of Police shall be the person to whom
firearms, ammunition, explosives or other dangerous substances
forfeited in favour of the Government in terms of the Criminal
Code shall be consigned by the registrar in order to be disposed of.
The Commissioner of Police Arms and ammunition,
including parts thereof;
The Brigadier of the Armed
Forces
Explosives, detonators,
dangerous chemicals and other
substances or combustible
materials;
The Director of Health Dangerous drugs;
The Director of Museums Articles of a historical or
artistic value;
The Governor of the Central
Bank
Monies, financial certificates,
gold, silver, gemstones and other
precious articles.
