CONTROL OF LIVESTOCK REGULATIONS

3. (1) Where any person acquires in any manner whatsoever,
any livestock or where the number of livestock in his possession is
increased by birth, that person shall within three days make a report
at the nearest Police station of the acquisition or the increase in the
number of livestock.
(2) Such report shall contain an indication of the kind and
number of livestock born or acquired, the total number of each kind
of live-stock then in the possession of the person making the report,
the place or places where such total number of livestock is to be
kept and, in case of an acquisition, the name and address of the
transferor.
(3) Any reduction in the number of livestock, whether by
death, slaughter or any other cause, shall be reported within three
days at the nearest Police station.
Inspection.
department authorised by him may enter any place in which he has
reason to believe that livestock is being kept.
Failure to make 
report, etc.
5. Whoever fails to make a report required under regulation 3,
or who in making a report willingly or recklessly gives any
information which is false in a relevant particular or omits to give
relevant information, or who obstructs, impedes or assists to
obstruct or impede the Director of Agriculture or any officer of his
department in the execution of these Regulations, shall be guilty of
an offence and shall be liable to a fine ( multa ) of not less than
twenty-five liri but not exceeding two hundred liri.
Applicability of 
regulations.
6 . These Regulations shall apply to the Islands of Gozo,
Comino and Cominotto.
