FOOD LICENCES REGULATIONS

Title.

Requirement of 
licence.
2. (1) No person may carry on any trade dealing with the
manufacture, or preparation for sale for human consumption, of any
article of food in any plant or manner set out in the First Part of the
Schedule, without a licence issued by the Superintendent of Public
Health.
(2) No person may be employed in the manufacture or
preparation for sale for human consumption of any article of food
set out in the Second Part of the said Schedule, without a licence
issued by the said Superintendent.
Levy of licence 
fee.
3. There shall be paid to the Superintendent of Public Health,
in respect of the issue or renewal of a licence for the analysis of
food or water samples, a fee of five liri per annum.
Licence to contain 
reference to 
premises.
4. Any licence issued under regulation 2 shall be made in the
name of the person concerned and shall contain a reference to the
particular premises in which the trade is carried on or at which the
person is employed, as the case may be.
