PASSENGER SERVICE CHARGE AT AIRPORT 
REGULATIONS

Title.
Charge at Airport Regulations.
Interpretation.
"departing passenger" means a passenger who commences a
voyage by air from Malta for a destination outside Malta, other
than in a military aircraft, and who does not return to Malta on the
same day of departure;
"Director" means the Director of Civil Aviation and includes any
public officer in his department so delegated by him for the purpose
of these regulations;
"positioning air crew" means members of the flying staff of an
aircraft operating company travelling on duty as passengers on a
flight to a place from which they will operate in an aircraft as
members of the crew thereof, provided their ticket or other
travelling document is endorsed by the aircraft operator to that
effect.

3. For the services and facilities provided for a departing
passenger from the Malta International Airport, there shall be
payable to the Director by the aircraft owner or the aircraft
operator, as the case may be, a fee of Lm 10 in respect of each
departing passenger embarking on his aircraft.
