IMPORTATION OF DUTY-FREE GOODS ORDER

Goods Order.
Importation of 
duty-free goods.
2. The items listed in the Schedule shall be imported into
Malta free from all duties of Customs whatsoever subject to the
condition that they are used solely within the limits of the Malta
International Airport or of any other airport in these Islands which
may from time to time be authorised for use by civil aircraft instead
of the Malta International Airport.
SCHEDULE
Article 2
1. Repair and maintenance material for air-frames, engines
and instruments.
2. Specialised aircraft repair kits.
3. (a) Starter batteries and carts.
(b) Ground power units for starting purposes.
4. Maintenance platforms and steps.
5. Test equipment for aircraft, aircraft engines and aircraft
instruments.
6. Heaters and coolers for aircraft and aircraft engines.
7. Ground radio equipment.
8. Passenger handling equipment.
9. Passenger loading steps.
10. Specialised passenger weighing devices.
11. Specialised catering equipment.
12. Cargo handling equipment.
13. Specialised vehicles for moving or loading of baggage
cargo, equipment or supplies excluding ordinary road
motor vehicles of any kind and petrol bowsers.
14. Specialised cargo loading devices.
15. Specialised cargo weighing devices.
16. Specialised aircraft towing equipment.
17. Aircraft containers, pallets and associated equipment.

18. Instructional material and training aids for use in
connection with the technical training of ground and flight
personnel including flight-simulators, link-trainers, mock-
ups, cut-away engines and parts, and charts showing the
functioning of various technical systems.
19. Component parts for incorporation into ground equipment
including the items listed above.
20. Aircraft, tools, spare parts and equipment required in the
search, rescue, investigation repair or salvage of damaged
aircraft.
