FEES FOR THE TESTING OF WATER OF 
SWIMMING POOLS REGULATIONS

Water of Swimming Pools Regulations.
Interpretation.
requires-
"Superintendent" means the Superintendent of Public Health;
"swimming pool" includes any swimming pool, hydrotherapy
baths, spa or other artificial enclosure containing a large enough
volume of water that is being used or is intended to be used for
bathing purposes, whether recreational, medical or otherwise.
Licence for use of 
swimming pool in 
a public 
establishment.
3. ( a ) The owner and the manager of any public or
commercial establishment shall not permit the use of
any swimming pool in his establishment without a
licence from the Superintendent.
( b ) (i) The licence shall be renewed by the
Superintendent after the lapse of twelve months
from the date of issue.
(ii) The said licence shall be issued or renewed on a
payment of a fee of Lm50 on its issue, and Lm25
on its renewal, to the Superintendent.
(iii) Such licence shall not bar any other public
corporation or government department from
requesting the issue of any other licence.
( c ) The Superintendent may refuse to grant or renew, or
may withdraw, any such licence whenever, in his
opinion, the water contained in the swimming pool
may be injurious to public health.
Tests to establish 
quality of water.
4. ( a ) The owner of the establishment shall make good any
expenses incurred by the Superintendent to carry out
all the necessary extraordinary tests by any person
authorised to do so by him in order to establish the
quality of the water in the swimming pool.
( b ) Such tests are to be carried out whenever deemed
necessary by the Superintendent.
