CONTROL OF POULTRY DISEASE REGULATIONS

Interpretation.
requires-
"Director" means the Director of Agriculture and includes any
officer of the Department of Agriculture duly authorised by him to
act on his behalf;
"Minister" means the Minister responsible for agriculture;
Cap. 36.
"poultry" has the same meaning as is assigned to it in the
Prevention of Disease Ordinance.
Unauthorised 
movement of 
poultry prohibited.
3. (1) The movement of any poultry by any person or persons
into, within or out of the Island of Malta is prohibited unless it has
been authorised in each case by the Director.
(2) The Director may grant an authorisation for the purpose of
the sub-regulation (1) of this regulation subject to such conditions
as he may deem proper to impose.
(3) Any person or persons who avail themselves of an
authorisation granted by the Director without complying with any
of the conditions to which such authorisation was made subject
shall be deemed to have contravened sub-regulation (1) of this
regulation.
Power of Director 
to order the 
vaccination of 
poultry.
4. The Director may order the vaccination of any healthy
poultry in such manner as he may deem fit.
