WAGES COUNCIL ORDER

2. The Hotels and Clubs Wages Council shall operate for all
employees engaged in hotels, guest houses, holiday complexes or
tourist villages, licensed holiday flats, clubs, coffee shops, bars and
restaurants.
Interpretation.

L.N. 28 of 1980.
3. ( a ) The term "hotel" includes any inn, boarding house,
lodging house and also includes any bar, restaurant or
shop run directly by the management of the hotel as
part of the amenities of that hotel.
( b ) The word "club" is referable to clubs of any
description whatsoever, including social clubs, sports
clubs and band clubs, and includes any bar, restaurant
or shop either run directly by the management of the
club as part of the amenities of the club, or given out
under contract for the purpose of increasing those
amenities.

( c ) The terms ''guest houses'', ''holiday complexes or
tourist villages'', and ''licensed holiday flats'' have the
same meaning as is assigned to them by the Malta
Travel and Tourism Services Act.
