ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE OF PASSENGERS 
REGULATIONS

GOVERNMENT NOTICE 331 of 1935. 
Title. 
Passengers Regulations.
Arrival of 
passengers.
2. Any alien arriving in these Islands as a passenger shall
present his passport to the Police on board the ship and obtain a
landing card. The landing card shall be shown to the Police at the
gangway. Before landing, a British subject shall show his passport
to the Police, at the gangway.
Passengers to show 
passport. 
3. Any passenger irrespective of nationality shall show his
passport to the Police at the Custom House. Aliens shall surrender
their landing cards to the Police and British subjects shall have
their names checked with the passengers list.
Aliens to obtain 
landing cards from 
Police.
4. Aliens in transit wishing to land in Malta are also required
to obtain landing cards from the Police on board the ship. 
Departure of 
passengers.
5. Passengers proceeding on board a ship for departure shall
pass through the passport office at the Custom House and have
their passports stamped with a departure stamp.
On arrival at the ship passengers shall present their
passports to the Police at the top of the gangway.
