OMNIBUSES REGULATIONS

Title. 
Licences.

2. All omnibus licences shall be deemed to have been issued
on condition that the licensee shall run his vehicle under the
direction of the Public Transport Authority.
Roster.
Substituted by:

3. Route vehicles shall be run on the prescribed route in
accordance with a roster to be prepared from time to time by the
central office for scheduled services subject to the approval of the
Public Transport Authority. The roster shall be drawn up in such
manner as to give, as far as possible, equal opportunity, in respect
of each omnibus, to the satisfaction of the Public Transport
Authority.
Suspension or 
withdrawal of 
licence.

4. The Public Transport Authority may suspend or withdraw
an omnibus licence if the licensee refuses, without just cause, to
comply with the authority’s instructions or with the instructions of
any person acting on its behalf.
Grouping of 
routes.

5. The Public Transport Authority may group any number of
prescribed routes in order to place them under one route manager;
and the Authority may give such direction as may in its view be
necessary for linking one route with another.
Authority may 
order private 
omnibuses.

6. The Public Transport Authority may order private
omnibuses either to perform route work or to perform any other
service which may, in the Authority’s discretion, be necessary.
Appointments.

7. The route manager and despatcher of each route shall be
appointed by the Public Transport Authority.
Interference with 
directions.
8. Any person who, with intent to disorganise the working of
any scheme approved by the competent authority interferes with the
directions given by the Commissioner of Police, or incites any
busman or any other person engaged in traffic to disobey any such
directions, shall be guilty of an offence against these Regulations
saving any greater liability incurred by any such person under the
provisions of any other law.
