REPORT OF ANIMALS TO THE POLICE
REGULATIONS
15th July, 1921

Report of animals.

2. Owners of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys, horses and
mules shall, within the first six days of the month of January of
each year and, in the case of pigs within the first six days of the
month of July of each year as well, report to the senior Police
officer on duty in the nearest Police Station of the district, the
number of such animals in their possession stating the place in
which they are kept and, in the case of cattle and donkeys,
specifying the sex and the breed.
Additions and 
reductions.
3. Any increase in the number of animals, whether by birth or
purchase, or any reduction, whether by sale, death or slaughter
shall also be reported; all animals sold for slaughter should be
considered as slaughtered, and animals which on the days above-
stated are not yet one month old may not be taken into account. 
Only one statement 
required.
4. On the statement being made by either the owner or the
person in charge, the other person shall cease to be bound to make
the same statement, but no person shall be excused on the grounds
of having erroneously believed that the statement had been made by
another person.
Contraventions.
fails to make the reports contemplated in regulations 2 and 3 of
these Regulations, or who makes a false or incorrect report shall,
on conviction, be liable to the punishments laid down for
contraventions.
