VIDEO FILM SHOWS REGULATIONS

Title .
Regulations.
Licence.
place open to the public any show by means of a video film
projector, without a licence from the Commissioner of Police.
Licence fees.
Regulations there shall be payable to the Commissioner of Police
the following fees:

S.L. 128.01.
4. The provisions of the Police Licences Regulations shall
apply to any licence issued or renewed in accordance with these
Regulations.
Applicability of 
Value Added Tax 
Act.
Cap. 406.
5. Any video film show held in premises licensed under
regulation 3( a ) is exempt from tax if held in accordance with the
provisions of the Value Added Tax Act. Any other video film show
is chargeable to tax as provided in that Act.
Offences and 
penalties. 
6. (1) Any person who contravenes the provisions of these
Regulations other than regulation 4, shall commit an offence and
shall on conviction be liable for each offence to a fine ( multa ) not
exceeding five hundred liri.
S.L.128.01.
(2) Any person who is found guilty of a contravention against
any of the provisions of the Police Licences Regulations, made
applicable to these Regulations by regulation 4, shall on conviction
be liable to the penalties laid down in those regulations.
( a ) in respect of shows by video film
projector held in any premises
licensed as a hotel, restaurant or
catering establishment
............................. Lm50  per annum ;
( b ) in respect of shows by video film
projector held in any trade or
business premises, other than a
hotel, restaurant or catering
establishment, or in respect of
any public place or a place open
to the public .............................. Lm 10  per annum .
