IMPORTATION AND USE OF BROMINATED 
VEGETABLE OILS (PROHIBITION) REGULATIONS

Definitions.
Cap. 231.
2. In these Regulations -
"food" has the same meaning as is assigned to it in article 2 of
the Food, Drugs and Drinking Water Ordinance;
"prohibited food" means any food which includes as one of its
constituents, in any quantity, brominated vegetable oil or in the
preparation whereof brominated vegetable oil has been used in any
way.
Prohibition of 
importation.
3. It shall not be lawful to import into these Islands
brominated vegetable oil or prohibited food.
Prohibition of use.
preparation of any food, in any quantity, for any purpose
whatsoever.
Prohibition to 
keep.
5.  No person shall keep in any place for any purpose
brominated vegetable oil or prohibited food.
