FEES FOR CERTIFICATES UNDER THE 
CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN 
ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD FAUNA AND 
FLORA REGULATIONS

2. The terms "Convention", "export", "import" and "re-
export" used in these Regulations shall be construed as having the
same meaning as is given to them in the Trade in Species of Fauna
and Flora Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the Convention
regulations".
Fee for the issue of 
permits or 
certificates.
3. (1) A fee of five liri (Lm5) shall be payable to the Director
for the Protection of the Environment on application for the issue
of a permit or certificate which is required in terms of the
Convention and of the provisions of regulation 6 of the Convention
regulations by -
( a ) an exporter with regard to an export or re-export
permit or certificate; and
( b ) an importer with regard to an import permit or
certificate.
(2) The said Director shall refuse to issue any permit or
certificate required by the Convention and by the Convention
regulations until such fee is paid.
