HIRE OF PROPERTY (G ĦASRI LOCAL COUNCIL) 
BYE-LAWS

LOCAL COUNCIL BYE-LAW 25/14/2001.
Citation.
Local Council) Bye-Laws.
Interpretation.
"Council" means the G ħasri Local Council;
"property" means the building of the Council, the equipment,
furnishings and any other objects, movable or immovable, housed
inside its premises and which is the property of the Council or
which falls under its custody.
Hire of property.
regulations and procedures, the Council shall have the right to hire
property to third parties and to other Local Councils, and
commercial or non-commercial organisations.
3.2 In the case of hire of any property, the fee due shall be as
indicated in the Schedule.
3.3 The hire of property shall be made by means of a contract
valid for a period not exceeding one year, which may be renewed
for any further period not exceeding one year:
Provided that the Council shall have the right to hire the
property for any day at the established rate in the Schedule.
Terms and 
conditions of hire.
4. When hiring the property, the Council may impose any
terms and conditions which it deems proper in the circumstances so
as to safeguard its interests and ensure the proper use of the said
property.
Termination of 
contract before the 
stipulated time.
5. Any lease made in terms of these Bye-Laws may be
terminated as soon as any of the terms and conditions of the
contract is breached.
