FISHERIES OFFICERS (REMUNERATION) 
REGULATIONS

Title.
(Remuneration) Regulations.
Interpretation.
the words "Director" and "Department" mean the Director and
Department of Agriculture and Fisheries respectively.
Service fees.
the precincts of the Department or outside the normal working
hours of the Department, there shall be paid to the Director, on his
demand, by the person at whose request such service is given, a
charge equivalent to the overtime rate which is calculated at such
rates as the Government from time to time pays to such officers for
similar attendances for overtime, together with an administrative
charge of five per cent calculated on the overall charge and
expenses, if any:
Provided that where the duration of such service by an
officer of the Department is of less than two hours, the charge shall
be calculated at a minimum equivalent of two whole hours.
Rates to be 
displayed.
4. The Director shall display at the Department and at
branches of the same Department the rates at which the attendance
of Fisheries Officers shall be charged under the provisions of
regulation 3.
Transport charges.
any place, unless the person requesting such an attendance provides
satisfactory transport -
( a ) when a route bus service is available, there shall be
made a charge for transport at the current fares for
such service;
( b )  when a route bus service is not available, there shall be
made a charge for transport at the rate of 9c3m per
kilometre.
Subsistence 
charge.
6. Where - 
( a ) a Fisheries Officer attends to his duties at a place
situated more than five kilometres away from his
station; or
( b ) the duties of a Fisheries Officer exceed five hours in
duration; or
( c ) there is no route bus service between the place of
attendance and the station of the Fisheries Officer,

a subsistence charge shall be made from the person requesting such
service at the rates applicable by Government to such officers for
similar attendances.
