22. When the dentist’s attendance is required
away from the town, suburb, or village in
which he resides, for every mile or part
of a mile from such town, suburb or
village to the limits of the town, suburb
or village where the patient resides, there
shall be reckoned additional to the fees
laid down in this tariff and to the
travelling expenses according to law, a
rate of ...................... .10
23. When the dentist is called on board a ship
lying in one of the harbours or bays of
these Islands, to the fees mentioned in
this tariff and exclusive of boat expenses,
there shall be added
 between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

24. When the dentist lives out of the place
bordering on the harbour or bay in which
the ship is lying, besides the rates fixed
in the preceding paragraph, the rates
fixed in paragraph 22 shall be
chargeable, for the distance between the
dentist’s place of residence and the quay
or shore of the harbour or bay where the
ship is lying.
25. When the dentist is called to a ship lying
out of a harbour or bay in these Islands,
besides the travelling expenses by land
and sea and the other fees and charges
under this tariff, there shall be
chargeable also a fee ...................... from

26. The rates as established by this tariff are
binding only whenever there has been no
previous agreement between dentist and
patient. In those cases in which minimum
and maximum rates are established, if the
amount asked by the dentist be
challenged, the fee shall be fixed by the
Medical Council which will take in
consideration all the circumstances of the
case.
The fees for operations and other services
not included in this tariff shall be
assessed by the Medical Council
according to circumstances, provided
there has been no previous agreement.
The Medical Council may also assess fees
due for medico-legal reports.
