The following are some prime movers which I made over the years and most of which I designed myself – the first steam engine when I was about 13 years old and the last V-twin is still in the making.

  • Two Cylinders in Line Side Valve – cylinder block and crankcase of mild steel; cylinder head, pistons and con-rods of aluminum alloy; timing gears of brass and of steel; main bearings and flywheel of brass; crankshaft, camshaft and cylinder sleeves of hardened mild steel – items bought are two glow plugs.
  • Single Cylinder Rotary Valves – cylinder block, head, crankcase and toothed wheels to drive valve shafts, of aluminum alloy; crankshaft, two rotary valve shafts of mild steel – only items bought are ball-bearings, toothed belts and glow plug – see parts. 
  • V-Twin Over Head Valve (to be finished) –design by L. W. Chenery.
