Bio
I am Prof. Irene Sciriha, a Maltese mathematician and professor at the University of Malta, specializing in spectral graph theory. I began teaching at the University in 1971 and completed my doctorate in 1998 at the University of Reading, UK, with a thesis titled "On some Aspects of Graph Spectra".
I have contributed to research on singular graphs and have also served as a member of the Gender Issues Committee of the European Mathematical Society, and on the Helsinki Group of the European Commission, which works on gender and science policy.
