Part 2 - Functional Programming

This second part of the declarative programming course covers the Functional programming part by offering a comprehensive introduction to the syntax, semantics and features of SML, a typical functional programming language.  The approach will be highly practical, being organised around a series of carefully chosen laboratory exercises.
