MAT 1092   Mathematic Methods for ICT

The purpose of this course is to give the necessary mathematical skills in fundamental methods that are required and expected from ICT students when reading other ICT related courses.

Some of the topics covered are: 

• Matrices
• Determinants
• Solution of Linear Equations
• Eigenvalues and Diagonalisation
• Ord. Diff. Eqns. of 1^st Order
• Ord. Diff. Eqns. of 2^nd Order + constant coeffs.
• Partial Diff. and Exact Diff. Eqns.
