This comprises three separate islands, all of them situated in the deep blue Mediterranean We can also write this as follows:

Malta:
This is definititely the biggest, with a population of 350,000. It is some 27km long and 15km wide. This gives it the highest population density in Europe.
Gozo:
This is much smaller and more agricultural. The population is only 1/10th as large as Malta.
Comino
Comino is the smallest and is famous for its tower, its pig farm and apparently a large colony of mice.
