Peress li jien Malti, hija ħaġa naturali u loġika li l-aktar li naħdem huwa fuq aspetti differenti tal-ilsien Malti. Bħalissa jien immexxi l-Istitut tal-Lingwistika fl-Università ta' Malta, fejn jien 'Associate Professor' tal-Lingwistika.

My name is Ray Fabri and I am a linguist by profession. Currently, I am the Chairman of the Institute of Linguistics of the University of Malta and Associate Professor of Linguistics. My areas of specialisation and interest in linguistics are formal language theory, language typology and language universals, and morpho-syntax. I am Maltese and, therefore, a lot my research in linguistics deals with various aspects of the Maltese language.
