1. There are students who are registered with the partner Universities but will be travelling from their home countries (different from any of the partner countries). Can they cover their travel expenses? Will they get the subsistence money?

The partner University can claim the travel from the IP Erasmus travel costs, i.e., 90% of the real cost for up to 450 EUR. Subsistence money will be covered too.

2. There are students that are working with one of partner Universities and want to participate to the Erasmus programme. Is this possible? Will they be refunded?

If the student is not registered at one of the partner Universities they cannot get refunded but could attend at his/her own costs, subject to available free spaces.

3.  What type of documents do the participants need to provide (at their arrival in Malta)  in order to get re-funded? What information they have to provide?

They will have to submit their boarding passes and receipts of tickets. They should provide their bank details (name of account holder, address, IBAN, SWIFT codes) in order to get refunded through a bank transfer.

4. How do I ensure that I get refunded?

You have to fill the attendance list every single day of the programme. If you are absent for a day (or decide to leave earlier) you will not get refunded for ANY of your expenses.

5. How many ECTS provides the course ? How do I use it for my studies?

The course will provide 5 ECTS.  The organisers will give you at the end of course an Erasmus IP certificate stating that this module is of an equivalent of 5 ECTS. It is up to the partner Universities to arrange that these credits are granted to each student.
