  • Woodworking – Did most Carpentry and Joinery jobs in the house.
  • Computers – Built Desktop UK101 from KIT in 1980 based on the 6502 8-bit Processor and 8KB RAM. Added 32KB RAM, Floppy Disk Controller and two 80KB Floppy Drives  in 1982. In contrast I presently use my fifth home assembled desktop based on AMD Athlon 2400XP+ 32-bit Processor, 1GB RAM and 120GB Hard Disk.
  • Model Engineering – Workshop,  Machine Tools  and  Model Engines .
  • Radio Control Model Boats – Power and Sail (baby Cjk).
  • Sailing  – Built `Catrina’ a 17ft Silhouette class sailing boat. Refitted `Keremi’ a 26ft Cowal class and `Mhari’ a Nicholson 32 class sloops. Presently own `Cjk’ a Bavaria 34 sailing sloop – see feature on Boats and Yachting Magazine, Malta, November/December 1999.
