Research Interest and Activities
Prof. Duncan Camilleri forms part of the Applied Engineering Mechanics research cluster at the University of Malta. Core research interests and activities include:
- prediction and mitigation of welding residual stresses and distortion;
- non-linear thermo-mechanical finite element analyses;
- design and optimization of lightweight assemblies;
- design, numerical modelling and testing of composite pressure vessels and piping;
- vibration monitoring, machine diagnostics and modal analysis.
